Malcolm in the Middle's Frankie Muniz has announced that he's joining the I’m A Celeb camp, but it seems that a few fans would have liked a different outcome.
The 38-year-old is best known for playing Malcom alongside two of his on-screen brothers Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan) and Reece (Justin Berfield), as the Emmy Award nominated show aired from 2000 to 2006.

These days, Muniz is more of a open-wheel driver and has put his acting career on hold to compete part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Now, over the weekend, fans were left shocked after Muniz announced he was joining I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Australia.
In a video posted on the show's official TikTok page, he said: "I am officially going into the jungle.

"I don't know how to feel. I'm excited. I'm nervous.
"You know, I'm normally very organised, a planner, a control freak, I don't get to control anything here.
"So I'm along for the ride and, you know, I hope they go easy on me.
"See you in the jungle."

However, a few Brits were a bit gutted that he isn't joining the UK version of the show.
"It's a shame he's not doing the UK version," one person wrote in the comments.
A second, rather surprised, user added: "Wait. There’s two versions of this show UK and Australia thought only Ant & Dec hosted this?"
"How can I watch this in the UK?" a third questioned.

Ahead of the premiere on Sunday night (24 March), Muniz said he had 'no idea' who his camp mates were.
"It was always something that the schedule didn't work and the show doesn't air in the US so to be honest, I wasn't quite sure exactly what it was," he told The Daily Telegraph.
In a preview from Monday night’s episode (25 March), the Malcolm in the Middle star explained how he was allowed to work nine-and-a-half hours each day until he turned 15 because of child labour laws.

"But you’d have to fit in three hours of school in that,” he added.
“We’d do rehearsal, and then they’d run you. Literally, the assistant director’s like, ‘Alright, get in school, get in school!’.
“And they’d mark when you start because you have to go in 20-minute increments, and as soon as 20 minutes was up they were like, ‘Okay, go on set and go film’. So there was no break.”
