I'm A Celeb switching things up as Celebrity Cyclone first look shows brand new dramatic element to trial

I'm A Celeb switching things up as Celebrity Cyclone first look shows brand new dramatic element to trial

Here is your first look at the epic I'm A Celeb trial

A first preview of tonight's epic Celebrity Cyclone trial has teased a brand new show first for campmates.

This year's I'm A Celeb is nearly at an end, however before we find out who the new King/Queen of the jungle is our campmates have to face the mother of all Bushtucker Trials.

Celebrities, don your capes and neon hot pants, it's time for Celebrity Cyclone.

ITV has now released an exciting first look ahead of the episode - and it would appear there's a dramatic new element to the trial.

In the clip we can see the final four campmates dressed in their superhero garb and spinning around as they await the beginning of the trial, while a giddy Ant and Dec instruct crew members to begin setting up the various projectiles to lob at the celebrities.

"Don't hold back, give them hell," Ant can be heard shouting, before adding: "I just love it, this is like my Christmas."

We're all aware that Celebrity Cyclone involves hurling wind, water, slime and various projectiles at the campmates throughout the trial.

However tonight's preview showed bursts of fire erupting into the air in a show first, most likely as a way of further terrifying the celebrities during the build-up (as we imagine that health and safety would probably draw the line at campmates being pelted with fire).

Check out the exciting preview below to see what's in store:

The clip then ends with the fireball erupting down the course to signal that it's go time, while Rooney can be heard screaming in anticipation.

Will the class of 2024 be able to continue the tradition of getting a full house of stars in the trial or will the cyclone prove too much? Tune in tonight to find out.

What time is I'm A Celeb on tonight?

I'm A Celeb will be airing at a slightly later time tonight, with the scheduling allowing space for Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby's reboot of gameshow You Bet! beforehand.

This means the episode will be pushed back to 9.30pm and ending at 10.35pm, which means a slightly later bedtime for anyone who prefers to get an early night rather than partying their Saturday evening away.

The penultimate episode will also see the final elimination ahead of Sunday's final, so make sure you vote for your favourite campmate so they don't miss out.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
