Fred Sirieix’s First Dates co-stars Laura Tott and Cici Coleman have spoken out over the star’s viral I'm A Celeb row.
The Frenchman recently clashed with comedian Nella Rose on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Despite this year’s series of the popular ITV show starting only less than a week ago, the pair have developed somewhat of a feud.

So, let’s get into some context. Earlier this week, Rose opened up to Sirieix about the death of her dad.
And then while chatting about their age difference (Sirieix is 51, Rose is 26), the First Dates star made a passing comment about how he ‘could be her dad’ because of his older age.
But this really didn’t sit well with Rose, who lashed out at Sirieix and explained in the Bush Telegraph: “Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad.
“I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad's passed away."

After butting heads, Sirieix apologised with: “I am so sorry. Can I just say? First of all, I am sorry I've offended you. I am unaware that you felt offended."
But Rose wasn't having any of it and went on to tell him to 'leave her alone'.
It’s proved to be a big talking point from the show, with viewers divided by the row and other TV stars weighing in on the debate.

And after comments from Sirieix’s partner, Tott and Coleman have offered their thoughts on the situation when they appeared on This Morning today (23 November).
Coleman said of the jungle: “You're in a pressure cooker, things like that will happen.”
Tott added: “It is just a misunderstanding, but it was so awkward to watch. My heart breaks for him because I know how he would have taken that and he will be so upset if he thinks he has offended her.

“He is just a big kid, it's all a big game for him, he will be in his element. He will love being the figure where he gets to look after everyone as well.”
Rose has sadly lost both her mother and father as well as facing financial difficulties through her teens and experiencing homelessness at one point.
Her dad, Kamango Paul Hollela, died in 2020, four years after her mother.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Watching you suffer for the past month has been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life but at least you're not in pain anymore.

"Gonna make you the proudest dad ever in the years to come because I know you're still by side every step of the way."
