After 20 long-awaited years, the face behind the MasterChef voice over has finally been revealed.
The BBC cooking competition is arguably the most iconic cooking TV show in the UK, having been on the air for two decades, which was a cause for celebration.
MasterChef kicked off semi-finals week by welcoming 70 guests for The MasterChef 20th Anniversary Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall, Central London.
Guests comprised of previous winners, judges, Michelin-star chefs and one face that fans of the show were buzzing to see.

The budding chefs were put to the test by being asked to recreate a three-course meal that were inspired by past winner's dishes, as all eight contestants were under pressure after being split into groups for the starters, two main dishes and desserts.
Host John Torode even contributed in the kitchen, as executive head chef.
There were a number of obstacles that the chefs needed to overcome during the episode, such as the ice cream machine breaking down, but they managed to whip up a 10/10 meal that warranted a standing ovation.
But for once, the food wasn't the only focus of the episode as the iconic MasterChef narrator made her first physical appearance on the show as one of the guests.

India Fisher has one of the most famous voices on TV, despite rarely making a public appearance, so you can imagine that fans were thrilled to see her feature in the 20th anniversary episode.
The long-standing narrator also had her moment during the episode as she read out the menu on camera like she normally would.
Fisher announced: "I vowed I wouldn't do this, but I'll read the menu out loud.

"Sounds delicious!"
Fans were delighted with her contribution, as one user posted on X: "Omg everyone stop what you’re doing @MasterChefUK just had the voice over lady do a LIVE read of the menu at the event this year’s contestants are cooking for... She’s exactly how I pictured her."
Another put: "Had to rewind when I heard her reading the menu and was like hold on a minute I know that voice."

Torode called the episode an 'extraordinary start to the semi-final', with co-host Gregg Wallace adding that it was 'one of the best events' that he could remember on the show.
But it was still an episode of MasterChef, as two of the shows contestants, Tom and Cliodhna, were eliminated and had to hand their aprons.
