Finally, you're going to find out why the group chat's been bombarded with 'Montoya, Por Favor' memes.
The phrase sums up an incredible moment of reality TV on La Isla de las Tentaciones, the Spanish version of America's Temptation Island.
It sees couples head to a tropical island - separately - to be put in a house with singletons who are trying to make them have an affair.

Although the US version was discontinued in 2003, it seems that the Spanish edition is in its eight season.
Why is everyone saying 'Montoya, Por Favor'?
Now, during one episode, a contestant named José Carlos Montoya watches a live feed of his girlfriend, Anita Williams, who is about to have an affair with another man in the singles villa.

The horribly awkward moment comes after Montoya received a lap dance and a strip tease earlier on in the show.
As the live feed continues to roll on, a man named Manuel, who is with Montoya's girl, appears to get very handsy while the pair lie in bed.
The contestant is visibly hurt and starts screaming in Spanish at the screen, then all of a sudden, the lights go out in Anita's room.

At this point, it becomes pretty obvious that she is about to have an affair with this man, and poor Montoya couldn't take it.
Suddenly, he felt there was no other option but to absolutely leg it to the other villa to try and stop Anita from going through with it.
The presenter who watched the whole thing unfold was repeatedly shouting: "Montoya, Por Favor!" which translates to: "Montoya, please (come back)."
Unfortunately for him, the camera cut back to Manuel and Anita in the bedroom and the pair looked to be having sex.

Within a few moments, Montoya arrives at the singles villa and was being held back by the other contestants.
Anita stops whatever she's doing with Manuel and brands Montoya a 'scoundrel' in Spanish.
What happened to Montoya and Anita?

The host, named Sandra, must have been exhausted when she caught up with Montoya to console him.
But in one last twist, Anita sort of has a moment of realisation and also breaks down crying.
She runs to Montoya and the pair make up with one another, then ask to be taken off the show.
The clip itself now has over 136 million views on X, at the time of writing.
"This is CINEMA…Montoya..the tension… you don’t need to speak Spanish to understand, this is insane," the caption reads.
