Look, sure, we love to see people do well and to win - but there’s no denying that plenty of us Brits love to look for things to kick off and complain about.
Almost as much as we love to watch a good quiz or game show on the telly.
And out of the lists of things for us to shout answers at the screen for, The 1% Club is an absolute favourite.
So viewers were in for a big Saturday night (25 May) when they took to complaining about one of the contestants supposedly ‘cheating’ on the ITV show.

Hosted by Lee Mack, the quiz show sees 100 members of the public putting their logic, common sense and intelligence to the test.
After they’ve worked through levels of questions, usually losing a fair few people along the way, any remaining contestant who correctly answers the question that only one percent of the nation got right wins a share of up to £100,000.
During the weekend’s episode, viewers began accusing Jason Duckett of cheating by rubbing on his ears as a signal.

The bloke was on The 1% Club with his wife Rowena, who was also on as a contestant in the studio.
For the ‘20 percent’ question, Mack asked: “To which body part can you add one letter at the start to make it the word for the job it does.”
Not exactly the trickiest of questions, the correct answer was ‘ear’ because, obviously, add a ‘h’ and you’ve got ‘hear’.
But viewers spotted Jason rubbing on his ear lobes and accused him of signalling to his wife as to what the answer was.

“Bit naughty from Mr Duckett there rubbing his ear,” one wrote on X, as another said they reckon there was a ‘bit of cheating going on’.
However, there’s one big problem with the accusations: the husband and wife were already eliminated anyway.
Jason told The Sun: “I almost admire the creativity of someone to come up with that because I hadn’t thought of that.

“There was nothing to gain for either of us. We were both out. Anything I was doing it was to just sort of calm myself.”
After being eliminated, the contestants remain in their seats and watch the rest of the quiz play out.
“If you spin it, you could say my arms are folded. Was the answer harm and arm?” the Londoner added.
Well, the bloke's got a point.
