Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has spoken up after she claimed that she was kicked off the show for keeping her 18+ side hustle going.
Dunn claims she was kicked off the Channel 4 soap back in 2021 after refusing to delete her OnlyFans account, despite playing Mandy Richardson on the show since 1996.
The 43-year-old also said that she thinks she knows who reported her account to the higher ups on the show, which resulted in her leaving the series for good.

Speaking to The Sun last year, she claimed that bosses at soaps now put clauses in stars' contracts that stop them from making OnlyFans accounts, following her departure from Hollyoaks.
She added that some stars and former stars have got in touch for some pointers as they're looking to go down the same route as her.
“I know that what happened with all of the soaps is that [actors] had to all sign a new copy of the contract, saying that they wouldn’t do it, that they couldn’t do it," Dunn said.

“Everyone would have left if they didn’t. I think people are curious but people can’t take that step."
Her character Mandy was written out of the show as she jetted off to Los Angeles in early 2022, with Dunn explaining: “Apparently there is one person who complained,
“I think I know who that is now, I have my suspicions for sure."

But following news last month that the soap would reduce the number of episodes it airs per week from five to three, some cast and crew have left the show.
Dunn weighed in on the issue, telling MailOnline about her opinion on the changed: "I did go to the reunion a couple of weeks ago and caught up with a load of people.
"It was really gorgeous to see loads of people that I never got to say goodbye to because obviously my contract was terminated so abruptly."
Dunn continued: "It also felt quite sad as well because a lot of people have lost their jobs and that breaks my heart."

In the past, she compared the Hollyoaks set to a regular workplace, where you have the people you get on with and the ones that you don't, adding that it 'boils down to their own insecurities and jealousies'.
Her bosses argued that her content on OnlyFans didn't align with the younger demographic of the show.
But Sarah had been posting similar pictures on Instagram in lingerie regardless, reminiscent of the ones that she had published in magazines in the 1990s.

Despite being on the platform, Sarah says she would never do X-rated content and that her husband fully supports her, explaining: “When I first joined OnlyFans, me and my husband had a conversation about what my limitations and boundaries were."
