Well, now it has finished after a fourth season that fans seemed to really enjoy, some of the large salaries earned by the main characters have been revealed in their accounts.
It’s fair to say that Asa Butterfield and Ncuti Gatwa have done pretty well out of the whole thing.
To be fair to them, the show has been an incredibly lucrative gamble for Netflix, so it seems only right that they should get their worth out of it.
26-year-old Butterfield was one of the show’s best loved characters, the schoolyard sex therapist Otis Milburn, taking the lead role in the show alongside fellow stalwarts Gatwa, who is 30, and 27-year-old Emma Mackey.

Over the course of the show they’ve all received great praise, with Mackey winning a BAFTA and Gatwa being announced as the next star of Doctor Who.
They’ve all raked in the dough, too.
Asa’s accounts for his personal company reveal that he’s now worth around £3,000,000, with ASA BFB Limited keeping £2,000,000 in cash and around £1,600,000 in investments, including a property.

The figures for the past 12 months until June 2023 show that he’s paid £6,000,000 in creditors fees, to be left with around £3,000,000 in total.
That puts him ahead of Gatwa, but it’s still definitely been a good year for the young actor.
As well as Sex Education and his new role as The Doctor, Gatwa also recently starred in Barbie.
Not bad at all.

His Gemini Moon Limited company has accounts that show he’s earned £915,000, which is currently sitting in his bank account.
He’s also got £44,000 in other assets.
According to The Sun, a source said: “Under normal circumstances becoming The Doctor is the career move that ensures you never have to worry about money again.
“It’s an incredibly lucrative position and leads to all sorts of spin-off work and acting opportunities.

“But Ncuti has already racked up a small fortune through sheer hard work and some shrewd choices of roles.”
Whilst some fans will be disappointed at the end of Sex Education, the creator Laurie Nunn has hinted that there could be room for other shows and spin-offs in the future.
What’s more, there’s going to be more work out there for the stars of the show, who seem set to be on-screen for decades to come.
Sex Education is available to watch on Netflix now.
