The creator of Suits has revealed whether characters from the original series are being included in the upcoming spin-off series, Suits LA.
Aaron Korsh was the showrunner for all nine of the legal drama's seasons, as fans watched Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) command New York as the city's best lawyer, while fraudulent lawyer Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) made a name for himself in the industry.
Ross would eventually marry with paralegal Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) and move to Seattle with her, though this was a move done so Markle could marry Prince Harry in real life, and become a part of the British Royal Family.
Now, over five years on from the series' finale, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Suits' second spin-off after it was announced last year.

A spin-off centred around Jessica Pearson was released in 2019, though Pearson was cancelled after one season - fans will be hoping Suits LA sticks around for longer than that.
However, a number have their doubts, as Korsh took to X in the past few days to answer some questions.
Could Meghan Markle's Rachel Zane return in Suits LA?
The American writer spoke about whether any of the original series' beloved characters will return, and how different this show will be to its predecessor.

Addressing the latter, and whether the likes of Sarah Rafferty's Donna or even Markle's own Rachel could make an appearance, he firstly said: "Harvey is coming," following an announcement from the actor himself.
Korsh added that it 'remains to be seen' if anyone from the original will join the show, explaining: "I am open to everything but we do want to launch these characters on this show."
A lot of fans starting writing the series off as a 'Suits replacement', to which he said: "All I can say is that if people watch, they will quickly see it does have overlap but it is 100% its own thing.

"If you liked the original and give this a fair shot, I find it hard to believe you won’t come to love it."
He went on to praise members of the Suits LA cast, such as Stephen Amell and Bryan Greenberg, clarifying: "Not trying to replace our beloved originals. Just a new crew working in a different city handling different kinds of cases."
Korsh also tried to make it clear that the show shouldn't be viewed as a 'spin-off', as the creator explained: "It seems like people are all wishing it was the originals back. I expected this and can’t blame them.

"I can only hope they give #SuitsLA an open-minded try. If they do, I really believe they will grow to love it."
