Warning! Spoilers for episode four of season four of The Boys below!
The Boys is back for it's fourth highly anticipated season, and by golly is it making an impression.
Fans of the satirical superhero series on Amazon Prime simply can't get enough of the new episodes, however, even longtime viewers have been left stunned by some of the latest scenes.

From what people have seen so far, it appears that the creators of The Boys are going all out with this new season, which is set to be the penultimate of the show.
A snippet of episode two has been dubbed the 'most depraved piece of media ever seen' by some and it's even been banned in India because it's that disturbing - so just be aware of what you are getting yourself in for.
As I'm sure you might have guessed, everyone's favourite villain, Homelander, has been at the centre of a lot of this kind of stuff - and Anthony Starr's incredible acting has got viewers feeling a whole host of emotions.
Take a look at this - but be warned, it is unpleasant:
Somehow, watching him burn a man alive has become one of his most sympathy-inducing moments in the whole show.

Viewers were clued into his strange upbringing from the first season of The Boys, as it's been made pretty clear that Homelander was raised in a lab and had all sorts of weapons tested on him to see how tough he was.
So, is it really surprising that he became one of the most messed-up superheroes on the block?
In the latest episode of The Boys, Homelander confronts his origin story head-on and revisits the lab where he was brought up with a selection of sweet treats for the people there to dine on - before delving right into his personal issues.

As viewers will know, Homelander has to go 'back to the start' and face his demons in order to progress with his plans to achieve world domination.
First on the list was Frank (Mark Charles Cowling) - who had tried to find out how resistant a young Homelander was to fire and heat by putting him in a huge furnace when he was a child - and long story short, he got his karma for that.
Marty was next on the chopping block, as he had given Homelander the nickname 'Squirt' when he was younger after catching him masturbating on one occasion, on top of the fact he conducted cruel experiments on him.
Keen to get his revenge for the teasing he suffered as a child, Homelander instructs the scientist to 'take his pants down' and begin masturbating in front of the room full of people.

Laughing manically, the leader of The Seven sits on a chair and watches the 'show' - before quipping: "Marty, it looks like you're shaking a little mushroom! That poor little thing."
Following that ordeal, Homelander uses his laser eyes ability to blast a hole through Marty's crotch.
He then stomps on the scientist's head to put him out of his misery instead of leaving Marty to bleed to death.

The shocking scene made for quite uncomfortable viewing for a lot of The Boys fans, who took to social media to discuss the 'f***ed up' moment in season four.
One said: "This s**t was f***ing outrageous."
Another wrote: "Generally the whole fourth season is f***ed up."
A third added: "Throughout this entire episode I was just shook and every time they cut back to this room, actual fear."
A fourth chimed in: "The fact that I can watch every bloody, gory scene happily but had to skip through this."
On the other hand, some viewers were happy to see the likes of Marty and Frank receive their comeuppance.
One said: "He kind of deserved that," while another wrote: "I don't feel bad for them.
"It does disgust me but they abused Homelander since he was born."
