The Grand Tour fans have been left emotional after Amazon confirmed the long-running motoring series would be coming to an end.
The Prime Video series, starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, originally premiered eight years ago after the presenting trio parted ways with the BBC and their previous motoring show Top Gear. Since then the series has been a huge success for the streamer and seen the trio head on even bigger and better adventures than before.

"For the last time, here we go," Clarkson says to the camera in one clip, before the episode's title 'One for the Road' pops up on screen.
The final special will be airing very soon, with Amazon confirming a release date of 13 September 2024 on Prime Video.
A synopsis for the finale has also confirmed the episode will take part in Zimbabwe, with the logline reading: "In their last adventure, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May ignore the instructions of [producer] Mr [Andy] Wilman and head to Zimbabwe in three cars they’ve always wanted to own, a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag.

"For a stunning road trip through beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes leading to an emotional ending on a strangely familiar island."
Fans are of course emotional to see the trio make their final trip after giving us 22 years of motoring delights and shear chaos, with many sharing their reactions across social media.
"I’m actually gonna cry throughout this episode," one person wrote, while a second added: "And so, The 3 Wise Men have reached the end of their journey. Thanks for everything chaps."
Several other fans were also quick to point out that you didn't have to be a fan of cars to enjoy their shows, thanks to their excellent comedic timing and chemistry as a presenting trio.

"I didn't matter if you were a car fan or not, the joy was in the chemistry of these 3," one fan pointed out.
"I'll miss them for sure, but I'm grateful for the many, many laughs we've had along the way. Old Top Gear and The Grand Tour will forever be my default comfort show."
