In the newest episode of I’m a Celeb, Coleen Rooney has opened up about her ‘Wagatha Christie’ tweets, saying that part of it was her ‘worst nightmare’.
Rooney is appearing on this year’s I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! after finding herself back in the spotlight in the last few years.
The media personality, who is married to Wayne Rooney, posted in 2019 that she had been investigating which of her friends were leaking stories to The Sun.

She posted different fake stories on her close friends story on Instagram, allowing only one account to be able to see it.
This was Rebekah Vardy’s account, the wife of Jamie Vardy.
It culminated in an English High Court libel case by Vardy against Rooney.

This led to Vardy being forced to pay Rooney’s legal costs after it was found that most of Rooney’s claims were true.
The announcement of Rooney’s sleuthing on twitter led many fans to dub her ‘Wagatha Christie’, a fact she speaks about in the new episode of I’m A Celeb.

Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough said: "Can you imagine if Princess Diana would have done a Wagatha Christie!”
Jane Moore then tells Coleen: "That was epic though what you did!”
Podcaster and influencer GK Barry asked Coleen if she was scared of posting her findings about Vardy, to which Coleen answered: "No because I just didn’t think it would have the impact it did, because I was just that sick and tired of it, it was draining.”
Coleen replied, “That was my worst nightmare to go to court.” She added: "I felt like it was like putting on a show for the whole world.”

Coleen then told the group: "What got me, over the whole thing, was it became a bit of a joke and that’s really disappointing, it wasn’t a joke for me.
“No one knew the full story”.
She went on to say: "We are getting to know the real people.
"I was ashamed to go to court, that's not me.
"That's my story done".
Rooney also revealed that she owns the term 'Wagatha Christie'.
One fan tweeted: "Dean [McCollough] is actually obsessed with Wagatha Christie. I love him this would 100% be me".
