Netflix just dropped their new rom-com TV series Uncoupled on the platform, which tells the story of 40-something Michael, who finds himself thrown into the ruthless world of modern dating when his partner of 17 years, Colin, leaves him without an explanation.
The New York based series sees Michael have a string of bizarre and funny encounters, starring Neil Patrick Harris as the lead, with many fans having already binged all the eight episodes in the series and calling for a second series.
So, can we expect a second series of Uncoupled? Here’s what we know about a potential Uncoupled series two so far…
When is Uncoupled Series 2 coming out?

The first series ended on a huge cliffhanger (more on that later…), which would leave plenty of room for the story to continue.
And showrunner Darren Star teased a second series when talking about a scene in the first series where Suzanne’s son Kai makes plans to meet up with the birth father he’s never met - although fans are not let in on who the mystery man is.
Speaking about the scene, Star told TVLine: “We have strong ideas about that storyline. We almost gave it away in season one, then decided not to. It'll be very surprising.”
Who is in the cast of Uncoupled Series 2?
Uncoupled stars Neil Patrick Harris in the lead role of Michael, who’s known for his roles in How I Met Your Mother, Gone Girl and A Series of Unfortunate Events, among others.

What could happen in Uncoupled series 2?
The final episode of Uncoupled left things on a huge cliffhanger when Michael’s ex-partner Colin turns up at his door, wondering if he’d made a huge mistake in leaving him, but the audience never got to see what Michael said in return.

So it’s likely a second series would cover the potential of Michael having Colin back in his life. Would he take him back… or would he refuse the offer and continue his search for someone else?
Either way, fans are hoping they won’t have long to wait for a second series. One fan on Twitter wrote: “"I really really love Uncoupled and please please please give us S2! In the wave of teenage LGBTQ+ stories, the series of middle age gay men is quite refreshing”.
