Vera Wang has once again managed to baffle fans with her latest impeccable red carpet look.
The 72-year-old fashion designer has made a habit out of astonishing onlookers with her youthful appearance, and her fashionable arrival at the Breast Cancer Research Fund's (BCRF) Hot Pink Party on Wednesday night proved to be no different, as the charity hosted an exclusive bash in New York.
Dressed for the occasion in a glittering pink gown with a plunging neckline, Wang completed her look by accessorising with a matching headpiece, sparkling diamond necklace and black nails.

"Think Pink…… So happy to be able to celebrate the BCRF again! In memory of the late great Evelyn Lauder. You helped to change the world," Wang captioned a snap of herself posing stylishly on the pink carpet.
Fans of Wang were unsurprisingly shocked by her age-defying appearance, with many rushing to the comments to show some love to the legendary designer's continued sense of style.
“Vera, you look absolutely DIVINE!!! This color suits you so well and for such a great cause,” one person commented.
“I think Vera is a vampire. Has not aged since the first time I saw her at least 30 plus years ago,” said another.

A third person exclaimed: “Evelyn Lauder absolutely changed the world with her commitment to raising awareness of [breast cancer]. Your generous support will ensure the continued success of her commitment to finding a cure for this terrible disease,” while a fourth simply declared: “There is just no possible way that this woman is 72 years old!!”
This isn’t the first time that Vera has turned heads with her amazing appearance. In an interview with People magazine on her 70th birthday, she opened up about the continued surprise her youthful looks tend to inspire in onlookers, and said: "I was shocked… I'm sort of the one that always puts the women I dress upfront. I am a fashion designer.

“I have dressed some of the most amazing women over the last 30 years on the red carpet when they've actually won Oscars or Golden Globes or Emmys. And so I'm always the one pushing them out the door, and fixing their train at the Met Gala.
"Even during my years at Vogue as a sittings editor, I created a lot of the pictures and was always behind the camera. So I always thought of myself as somebody who, in all fairness, was the creator and not the subject matter. So [the response] was sort of shocking. I can't lie to you."

But despite years of being accused of being a vampire, Wang has revealed that she does have a secret to eternal youth – but that it isn't anything quite as scandalous as the rumours suggest.
Responding to a fan on her Instagram asking how she maintained her stunning appearance, Wang’s response was devastatingly simple: "Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, [and] not much sun."
