Netflix’s new legal drama series The Lincoln Lawyer has flown on to the most watched list and has got viewers seriously hooked. You can check out a trailer for it here:
The series is based on the Michael Connelly’s book series of the same name, and centres on a lawyer who works out the back of his Lincoln car.

A synopsis from Netflix reads: ”Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.”
The Lincoln Lawyer also stars Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson, while author Connelly worked as a writer and executive producer.
It landed on the streaming service on 13 May and is already proving to be a big hit with viewers - topping the streaming platform’s most watched list in the US and the UK.
While fans have been taking to social media to pile praise on the new show.

One person wrote: “Michael Connelly is one of my favourite authors. The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix captures the essence of those books. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is perfect blend of charm and melancholy. Worth a watch.”

The 10-part season is based on the second book from the series - the first having previously been adapted for 2011 film The Lincoln Lawyer starring Matthew McConaughey.
But fans may be pleased to learn that there are six books in the series, meaning it a second season would be very doable.

And Connelly is keen, if given the chance - he posted on Twitter to say: “As for season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer, we’re waiting to hear and really hope it happens.
