Nadine Macaluso, the ex-wife of Jordan Belfort, has claimed the 'Wolf of Wall Street' paid one of her friends a whopping $15,000 (£13,000) to arrange their first date.
Most of you have seen Martin Scorcese's 2013 film by now, which follows the rise and fall of the disgraced stockbroker, now 60, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Nadine was portrayed by Margot Robbie under the name Naomi Lapaglia, aka The Duchess of Bay Ridge.
The 54-year-old, who now works as a marriage counsellor and family therapist, has been vocal about the fact that the story was very much told through Belfort's lens in the hit movie.
Although some scenes were accurate, others were exaggerated or told from a single perspective, and this is very much the case with how Jordan and Nadine started dating, she claims.
In The Wolf of Wall Street, the pair met at a drug-fuelled pool party - you know the one, when Jonah Hill's character tugged himself off in sight of all the guests.

Though this part was allegedly true to life, Nadine says her reaction was downplayed on screen. What's more, the scene then cuts to Jordan, who was married at the time, out on a date with The Duchess.
You might be wondering how they ended up together in the first place, and now Nadine has revealed all in a new TikTok video.
"So let me give you a little back story about how Jordan and I actually went on our first date," she said.

"And then that will lead into the whole 'first wife' questions that a lot of you guys have, and rightly so."
After meeting at the party in West Hampton, she claims Jordan became 'obsessed' and reached out to a mutual friend of theirs to offer her a deal - $15,000 on the stock market in exchange for a date with Nadine.
She continued: "This woman kept calling me, calling me, calling me and I'm like, 'Why is this woman calling me to go out?' So finally I said, 'Yes.' And she said, 'Oh, by the way, that guy Jordan is going to come,' and I was like, 'Why is he coming? Isn't he married?'"

Although she says she found it weird, the therapist - who was 22 years old at the time - went along with it.
The friend allegedly picked Nadine up and took her to a fancy restaurant in Manhattan, and sure enough Jordan rocked up in his Testarossa and his cowboy boots and the pair started chatting.
They had an 'amazing conversation', although Nadine admits that she had no idea it was a setup.
After driving her home, the entrepreneur asked her how he could get in touch and she said she was listed under the name of the woman she was living with at the time.

"The next day, as the movie shows, I came home to so many flowers," she said. "And so he would call me and call me and call me.
"I was very confused about his marital status... I was 22, and I was clueless about what it meant to be married, to not be married.
"He told me that he was separated from his wife, and he was living in an apartment in New York City, which he did have. And so that's how that whole thing first started out."
The therapist went on to claim that she didn't really understand his marital status, adding: "Looking back at it as a 54-year-old woman, I completely understand that I should have been a lot more inquisitive and really figured out exactly what his marital status was, and not just simply believed him."
However, plenty of people have jumped to her defence, with one commenter writing: "You were only 22. That’s so young and understandable in my personal opinion."
Another said: "This is absolutely beautiful accountability even though you were lied to, this is how it’s done."
