It's the most popular fizzy drink in the entire world but how we consume it splits opinion worse than the love or hatred for Marmite.
We're of course talking about Coca-Cola, which has been quenching thirst for 137 years after being founded back in 1886 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Whether you're a fan of the original stuff or the more recent Zero brand, it is the best in class for millions out there.
But now we consume it is up for debate - especially when it comes to mixing it with booze.

A vodka and coke is as common as it comes when having a tipple. Likewise with rum instead of the Russian spirit.
But the debate becomes a very serious one for lovers of another.
We're talking whisky.
Whisky fans are a passionate bunch. So much so the idea of having the spirit with ice or a bit of water is enough to made some want to crack skulls.

But if you're a fan of mixing it with coke or another similar brand, it's time to face the wrath of liquor lovers.
Posting on Reddit, one user was a bit miffed after their boyfriend got them a £70 bottle of whisky for their anniversary.
They then took to mixing it with a Diet Coke. Cue domestic of the year, with their boyfriend left 'insulted' after spending £70 on something he felt should have been enjoyed neat.

They posted: "So my boyfriend bought me a beautiful bottle of whisky for our anniversary. It cost around £70.
"I have been waiting to open it for a special occasion so I opened it tonight as we both had a free evening! We both had a measure each in a small glass and it was really nice. Really smooth in comparison to a lot of whiskies I have had. I had one drink so decided to pour some Diet Coke into it.
"My boyfriend feels insulted because he’s spent money on this whisky for me and it is very expensive. He thinks he could have got me whisky for cheap to put with coke. I understand but I also feel that whisky and coke is a common drink and I will do drink it without, it is a genuinely lovely whisky.

"I think I might be the a*****e because I didn’t treat the whisky as an expensive one, however I can see why people would drink coke with it. Am I the a*****e?"
It's safe to say whisky lovers weren't impressed.
One replied: "As a whisky drinker myself, I cringed at this post. But you are not the a*****e. This was a gift, you expressed appreciation for it, and you can enjoy it however you like."

A second said: "My opinion is you don’t mix the good stuff (and my personal preference is neat, not even rocks or water) - but it was a gift."
A third wrote: " I mean, it is like covering a $150 steak in $2 ketchup... but I wouldn't call it a*****e behaviour."
One whiskey lover even claimed they’d have a ‘stroke’ if they saw someone mixing cola with their drink.
I mean, that sure does seem a little extreme.
