There’s nothing better than looking into the bottom of that glorious brown paper bag, to see the bottom covered by those crunchy golden chips.
They are arguably the best fast food-produced chips in the world, and the best thing is that we get even more than what we pay for. That's a rarity in this day and age, as it’s usually the opposite, are we right?!
Even though the prices of the food at Five Guys are somewhat, er, questionable, they do make an effort to go the extra mile for their customers.

And now they have revealed the real reason they do it.
On their website, it says that their company ‘believes in generosity’.
It says: “Our fries are served in a white cup which varies in size depending on the portion ordered.
“Plus, we always add an ‘extra scoop’ of fries in the bag as we believe in generosity!”

We definitely appreciate the gesture, thanks guys!
They also added: “We suggest sharing the fries if you are visiting with other people.
“We recommend that the serving size for 1 Little portion is between 1-2 people, and for 1 Large portion is between 3-4 people, although it’s up to you!”

I think we’ll take a large portion just for us, they taste too good to share.
On the website, they also answered another controversy, over how their burgers should be cooked.
People have asked why they can’t have their burgers rare or medium, and Five Guys have stated that they believe it’s because it tastes best when cooked well done.
Well, we can’t have it all guys.

They added: “We only serve well done and juicy beef patties at Five Guys.
“By doing this, we are able to achieve two goals - a consistent product, and meeting/exceeding code standards for ground beef.
“We understand that there are varying opinions on what level a burger should be cooked

for optimal flavour.
“Our opinion is that our burgers taste best cooked juicy and well done!”
I guess they know best?!
A video was also revealed showing how Five Guys make their fries, and people were shocked that they aren’t frozen!
The potatoes are cut up in store, washed thoroughly and then deep-fried to produce the amazing chips that we just can’t get enough of.
