A popular pub has responded to criticism over the price that they charge for a classic Full English breakfast.
The Cow Shed, located in Ospringe, Kent, has released a statement after an uproar on social media when people found out about the hefty cost of their staple morning meal.
The pub caused quite the stir online when customers discovered that a variation of an all you can eat Full English at the establishment cost £25.

One user highlighted that the pub was in Faversham, 'not fancy Mayfair', but as the comments came rolling in online, the pub initially stayed quiet about the situation.
Another user even joked that they would need a GoFundMe to afford the 'lavish breakfast' on offer at the British pub.
But now, it seems like enough is enough as the Cow Shed has finally hit back with an explanation behind their decision in a statement to LADbible.

Justin, Emma & Charlotte, the family behind the pub, clarified: "Yes, it's definitely aimed for those who want to indulge, who are comfortable in spending the extra cash to immerse themselves in our quality 'ALL YOU CAN EAT' breakfast."
A family run establishment, they further said that 'one of the main reasons' they started the pub in the first place was due to the fact that their 'celebrations and commiserations tend to be based around food'.
The explanation went on about the inspiration behind the pub, saying: "When venturing out, rather than hosting at home, we often felt there was some sort of compromise. So hence The Cow Shed in its current guise was born."

If you were to bring your little ones for breakfast on the weekend, those under five eat for free while those under 12 get a decent half price deal.
Adults will pay £13.50 for their Full English on its own, half the price of the all-you-can-eat offer if that takes your fancy.
Despite the cost of a bottomless breakfast, customers have taken to TripAdvisor in the past to praise the 'amazing' food on offer at the pub.
The Cow Shed even boasts a four-and-a-half star rating on TripAdvisor, with other more luxurious restaurants with the same rating charging more than double the price for a Full English.

They knew of this too, saying in their 800-word response: "Think about it, if you were to frequent any establishment that serves a certain level of quality, with that content having only one serving of each, you'd soon be breaking the £20 mark."
