'Brat Summer' may be over, the kids might be back at school and the pints in the garden after work might be a thing of the past, but there’s still something worth clinging on for.
Yep, McDonald’s Monopoly. OK, sure, that was a bit dramatic but plenty of people are buzzing to see it back.
While the famed Grimace Shake may have only lasted a few days in the UK, the iconic competition is set to run from today (4 September) all the way until 15 October.

Plus, McDonald’s Monopoly has brought an iconic burger back with it as a huge menu change takes place.
As most Maccies fans will know, the game will see stickers on the likes of cold drinks, fries, chicken selects, wraps and some of the burgers.
These stickers will have an ‘instant prize win’ for free food or a Monopoly property sticker to work towards those big prizes.

And one of those burgers which you’ll find a sticker with is the iconic, the legendary, the Philly Cheese Stack.
The popular burger features two beef patties, grilled and crispy onions, cheese sauce, two slices of cheddar cheese and pickles all sandwiched together in a toasted, seeded bun.
It’ll have been nearly a year since the item first launched at McDonald’s back in October 2023 with its departure in November having fans saying Christmas was ‘ruined’.

Plenty of people have since demanded the restaurant chain makes it permanent, with some even petitioning for it. But for now, priced at £5.29 on its own, it’s temporary again.
However, it’ll be joined by the return of the Chicken Big Mac (£4.79) and Mozzarella Dippers (£2.39). And of course, it wouldn’t be a Maccies menu shake-up without new McFlurry flavours.
This time round it’s a Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry with ice cream swirled with Galaxy Chocolate drops and Galaxy Chocolate sauce. Or, there’s the Twix Caramel sauce featuring the ice cream swirled with Twix biscuit pieces and chocolate drops, topped with caramel sauce. Both are priced at £2.19.

Also joining the menu is a brand new McCafe option, the Twix Latte.
Priced at £2.69, it’s a smooth latte blended with Twix flavour syrup and topped off with a caramel cream and Twix crumb.
That new hot drink won’t be stickered but as well as the returning burgers, new McFlurries and Mozzarella Dippers, the Monopoly stickered items are:
- 0.4 & 0.5 Cold Cups
- Medium & Large Fries
- 3 & 5 Chicken Selects
- Large Salad Tray
- Cheese Sharebox
- McPlant®
- McSpicy®
- McCrispy®
- 0.3 & 0.4 Blended Ice
- Deli Wraps
- Veggie Wraps
