This summer is going to be packed full of moments where all you want to do is sit out in the sunshine and glug something refreshing down your gullet.
While the sporty types run around on some grass for the Euros, Wimbledon and the Olympics, most of us are going to be doing a lot of sitting and watching instead.
As with last year, the UK is likely to be hit by heatwaves this summer as temperatures climb higher and there are parts of the year where stepping into the sunlight is scorching.

According to some research from Parkdean Resorts, they reckon that 16 June is going to be the hottest day of the year thus far, and it coincides with England's first Euros match so there'll be plenty sitting out in the evening sun.
Brits do like to feel the heat whenever the sun actually deigns to shine down upon us so it's likely that you'll find many parked under giant umbrellas in the beer gardens supping their preferred brand of liquid bread.
Your tipple of choice is really up to you, but some bloke on the internet has declared that 2024 is going to be 'the summer of this particular behatted Mediterranean bloke', and shared a picture of a pint of Victoria Málaga.

However, he's not actually Mediterranean, as he's actually meant to be a picture of a stereotypical German tourist in Spain.

Quite a lot of the UK's favourite booze comes from international brewers, but is made right here on these very shores.
If you want to drink a Carlsberg, San Miguel or Amstel then chances are it was made in the UK, and even if a beer has an exotic sounding name like Madri it doesn't mean it was made abroad.
Do be careful with this as drinking beer to cool down can actually backfire, since imbibing alcohol can make you dehydrated.
