It was only a matter of time before the wedding received backlash online, with many people baffled at how much money some have, while others are living out their days on the breadline.

"You could fix so many things in this world with that kind of money," one person pointed out on X, while another penned: "It is absolutely insane how some humans experience life like this and others have to fight for basic resources."

"Idc how much money I have, billions upon billions… 59 million on a wedding is insane," a third added.

So who are the mystery couple - and how are they so loaded?

The bride is heiress Madelaine Brockway, her groom is Jacob LaGrone and it would appear their money is, at least partially, familial wealth.

Madelaine is the daughter of Bob Brockway, chairman and CEO of Ussery Automative Group – a car company overseeing various Mercedes Benz dealerships in Florida. Meanwhile her mother Paula is the Vice President of one of the Mercedes Benz branches.

So in other words, they really are rich rich.
