A cruise ship worker has revealed the one thing passengers do that crew members always poke fun at.
Lucy Southerton, 28, from Birmingham, has been working on cruise ships for almost a decade, so she's pretty in the know about what's acceptable ship etiquette and what isn't.
And there's one thing in particular that always gives the staff a good chuckle.

Lucy shares her cruising journey on social media - @cruisingascrew - where she reveals all kinds of inside info.
Those who are regulars on cruise ships will know there's certain things you simply do not do, but for cruise ship beginners, this one might surprise you.
In fact, Lucy explained it's only really the passenger's cabin where this would be considered acceptable behaviour.

So if you're heading on a cruise this year, take note!
Speaking to the Daily Star, Lucy said: "Crew members generally make fun of passengers who think it's okay to walk around the cruise ship barefoot.
"There's always at least one passenger per cruise who feels comfortable strolling around the entire ship without shoes. They'll even go into shops and the theatre barefoot because technically they are indoors."

Lucy explained that although some people think it's okay, it really isn't acceptable outside of your own cabin.
"However any space outside of your cabin really, you should have your shoes on. And if you do want to walk around the cruise ship with no shoes on just know that the crew members will be making fun of you," she said.
Lucy also explained other bugbears, including passengers who are rude.
"It has happened before where a passenger has been incredibly rude to a crew member that they have later needed during their cruise," she said.

"In terms of getting free things the best way to go about this is making genuine connections with crew members that can give you free things."
Earlier this month, we told you how one cruise ship regular revealed the kinds of things that will actually get you kicked off a cruise.
TikToker @chasingthedream.hj regularly shares videos of his travels, offering tips and tricks for those looking to book cruises.

"Did you know this about cruises? There's a couple of reasons you can actually get banned from a cruise or future cruises and it's basically anything revolving around jumping overboard, walking on the rails or anything going over the edge of the rails," he said.
"Definitely wouldn't recommend jumping overboard or accidentally falling overboard, because most of the cruise ships are 20 stories high and it's a long way down and you might hurt yourself."
He also explained that you can actually get kicked off a ship for fighting over sun loungers.
