It’s holiday season, which means it’s the season of Brits feeling ripped off when they’re buying drinks abroad.
After tourists were told they should ‘check the menu’ when they had to fork out nearly 700 quid for two drinks in Mykonos, a woman has now been left fuming in Marbella.
Chantelle Bradd had splashed out €660 (£560) for a bed at the infamous Nikki Beach in Marbella, with the understanding her and her pal would have €500 (£423) worth of drinks credit.

Instead, she ended up ‘mugged off’ when she found out she’d owe the bar more money when she got there.
Sharing her shocking spenny trip to the beach club on TikTok as user ‘chantellebradd’, the Brit explained how they thought they would be all ‘sorted’ to be able to have some food and drinks.
However, that’s not quite how it played out.

“Just rocked up here, no cocktails included in the credit, no food included in the credit – only bottles,” she claimed.
And while Chantelle and her mate aren’t ‘wine’ type of drinkers, they thought they’d be fine buying a bottle of Pimms with their credit.
“No, and look at the menu, look at the price of it,” she said, showing a list of wine and champagnes which appear to be priced from a minimum of €545 (£461) up to a whopping €24,995 (£21,159).
“So, basically, you can’t even have the very top one because we would owe them €45. So what have we just spent the money on? The beds basically. The space, that’s it.”

In a follow-up clip, Chantelle explained that she hadn’t done any research before heading to Nikki Beach as it was all last minute and she was ‘just tagging along’ on the trip to Marbella.
In the end, it seems the two friends decided to go with a bottle of spiced rum for €626 (£529) but said the whole experience ‘just takes the p**s’.
While her pal apparently had screenshots of ‘bottle prices’ from the club’s website, she says they had less options when they got there – as well as higher prices.

Users commented on Chantelle’s video to call it all ‘an absolute disgrace’ as others say they would’ve gone ‘mental’ in that situation.
“Thank you so much, will deffo not go,” one said, as another added: “I think you have done a public service by your video.”
Well, that’s one pricey day out.
