A Disney theme park fan has urged Brits to check dates before jetting out to the US for a trip.
Walt Disney World Resort is a popular spot for Brits, but there’s a date that people ought to be aware of that could see the price increase.
Sarah, who regularly shares tips and hacks about Disney theme parks on her TikTok channel @unitedkingdomofdisney, has revealed details of her latest booking, which will see her flying out to DisneyWorld next month.

Sarah and her partner will be spending ten nights at DisneyWorld in Florida, flying out for London Heathrow at the end of November.
However, she warned others to be aware of Thanksgiving - something which we obviously don’t celebrate over here, but which is a pretty big deal across the pond.
Talking about her own booking, she explained: “It’s through the Thanksgiving period in the States, which does play around with the prices a bit because it does get busier at DisneyWorld.”

Sarah, who ended up stumping up £4,062.70 for her holiday including flights, on-site hotel and park tickets, later admitted that she hadn’t been aware it was a special date when she made her booking.
“So this for a trip that is 10 nights,” she told her followers. “It is heading out towards the end of November - it is in Thanksgiving week, which I did not realise when I booked it.”
However, Sarah did manage to take advantage of a special offer that was running at the time, which meant that she and her partner will be given a $200 (£164) Disney gift card and a $360 (£295) ‘dining and merchandise’ card that - as the name suggests can be used to buy food during the trip.

Sarah reckons that the free cash from Disney will probably cover the cost for a week’s worth of food and drink.
In a follow-up comment, Sarah noted: “Prices have definitely gone up this year. We paid less in the first half of the year but wanted to do Christmas.”
Responding to her post, one person who ended up spending Thanksgiving at Universal, in Florida, said she ‘loved every minute of it’.
She wrote: “We stayed last year for Thanksgiving in Universal and loved every minute of it. Enjoy the magic at Disney.”

After being asked how the crowds were during such a busy period, the woman added: “As soon as Thanksgiving weekend had finished absolutely amazing, we would walk on most rides, max wait was around 40 mins for Velocicoaster.”
