A new airline ticket has been absolutely rinsed online after it was revealed what exactly you get for your money.
The rise of budget airlines has allowed us to see the world in a way which was previously never possible.
It's also meant that we've had to endure uncomfortable plane journeys as heavily restricted baggage allowance and limited leg space is the trade off for ridiculously cheap airfare.

However one Canadian airline is looking to undercut economy travel even further by introducing an 'UltraBasic' ticket option.
Announced earlier this month, Canada's WestJet airlines is set to replace its current 'Basic' ticket option with an 'UltraBasic' one, calling the move a 'no frills' approach to air travel.
As you can expect with the cheapest ticket option, WestJet's UltraBasic seats come with very little ad ons or in-flight comforts.

Customers travelling on the ticket will made to wait until everyone else has boarded before being allowed onto the aircraft.
Once you've finally boarded you'll then have the long walk of shame as you make your way to the very back of the plane under the watch of several pairs of eyes, who have all forked out for higher tickets.
With the new ticket you also have limited luggage options.
The ticket allows travellers to bring one 'personal item' which can be stored under the seat.

WestJet describes the personal item as one 41 cm x 15 cm x 33 cm bag (similar to Ryanair's non-priority boarding pass) however examples of a personal item confusingly include things such as a 'small musical instrument' or a 'sports ball' which vary in size.
Wanting to bring an extra carry on bag to place in the overhead locker? That'll cost you extra in the form of an 'Extended Comfort' upgrade, it's also worth noting that this was automatically included in the previous basic ticket.
Customers will still have access to inflight entertainment as well as food and beverage offerings.

WestJet states that the 'UltraBasic' ticket simply allows travellers more options in regards to travel.
"We are committed to air travel affordability, and UltraBasic is an innovative cost-effective solution that strengthens WestJet’s ability to offer guests budget-friendly airfares to more destinations," John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer said in a statement.
"With UltraBasic, guests can tailor a travel experience that meets their needs, without paying for additional services they don’t value. We are delivering on our low-fare promise and believe UltraBasic will give more Canadians the opportunity to fly."
While WestJet insists the new option will allow travellers to save money, not everyone is impressed.

Following the announcement several Canadian Redditors shared their thoughts on the move, and it wasn't positive.
"Probably same price as the old basic but less features," one person remarked, while another joked: "Pretty soon they will be downgrading offers to 'Hang on to the outside of the plane for dear life fare'."
LADbible has approached WestJet for comment.
