To put it simply, cheating is an abhorrently nasty thing to do to someone else in a relationship.
It's a complete betrayal of your partner's trust while you want to have your cake and eat it, and it can do some serious damage to the person you ought to be closest to in the world.
But then how are you supposed to spot if the one who ought to be your nearest and dearest is being unfaithful towards you?

There are all sorts of experts who say there are a number of signs you must be on the lookout for, whether those be subtle signs with their body language or sudden changes in their behaviour.
There are also plenty of others who reckon they've sussed out the signs of cheating, like TikToker Fiona who normally makes videos for women about self-care and confidence.

However, in a departure from her usual content she said there were two signs men gave off which showed they had 'cheater energy' and were thus 'DTC', or 'down to cheat'.

This didn't mean they were currently cheating per se, but Fiona said these two signs had 'never failed her' and both of them were focused on the man's Instagram activity.
She said: "They either have an Instagram account and follow tons of girls they don't know, especially fitness girls. If I see that he follows a bunch of fitness girls I'm like, DTC."
That's point one, but apparently point two is also a concern about who your man might be following on the 'gram.

Apparently if your man is following pretty much every woman he's ever met then that's also supposed to be a bad sign.
"He has an Instagram account and he follows every girl he's ever met, the woman who serves him at the taco truck - he's following her - normal gals but tons," Fiona said of her cheating detection method.
"If they've spoken, if they've crossed paths, he's got her IG. It's giving DTC straight up."
So for the gentlemen among you, if you're collecting the Instagram accounts of basically every woman you've ever spoken to like they're Pokémon then that's apparently sending off some very bad signals and people will think you're a cheater.

It does rather beg the question what you were planning to do with all these Instagram accounts of fitness girls or those of literally every woman you've ever met.
On the other hand, in another video Fiona said that a guy with no social media accounts could also be a problem.

Maybe just don't cheat on your partner, gang.
