It's safe to say that GMB's tradition of selecting a number of teens to open those their result letters live on air didn't quite go to plan.
Earlier today (August 18) young Dylan told ITV host Pip Tomson that he was 'nervous' and had his fingers crossed to hopefully get a couple of Bs.
However, after seemingly taking a peak at his envelope, Dylan's face dropped as the host, Tomson, suddenly jumped in and read out his results, which were 'DDC'.
Despite revealing that he an unconditional university offer, viewers weren't happy with the format.

Well, the young student has now, brilliantly, addressed the whole situation and he couldn't have put it better.
He said: "I'm the first one in my family to even do A-Levels.
"So one nil Dylan."

Commenting on his response, one person said: "You did great mate but now you have become a meme. I don’t know if I should congratulate you or have Sympathy for you."
A second added: "A richly deserved honour is on its way. National hero right there."
While a third wrote: "Comedy. You’re qualified for comedy son. Go get em."
Dylan was one of a number of students who got their results, as a teen named Olivia seemingly got a better outcome than expected

She told Tomson that she was hoping for three As so that she could study medicine at The University of Sunderland, only to discover that she earned all A*s.
Despite those who got the results that they wanted, viewers weren't pleased with the show's format.
One person said: "Can anyone explain the obsession breakfast TV has with having students open their A Level results live on TV?"

Another wrote: "@GMB #gmb worst kind of journalism getting/encouraging kids to open A Level results live on air.
"Firstly, obviously, only those sure of good results will offer to do so. Secondly, utterly pointless exercise that doesn’t inform in any way. Pure voyeurism."
While a third added: "Live footage of students opening their A Level results courtesy of @GMB. What is wrong with you! Really not well considered."
