If you live on, or are visiting, the beautiful Indonesian island of Bali and fancy some doughnuts, you will have a bit of a surprise.
On the Ngurah Rai Bypass in Bali, you will find a Dunkin’ Donuts - other donut brands available.
When you arrive, you'll be very surprised to find an abandoned Boeing 737 plane sitting in an empty lot next door to the restaurant.

What is even more surprising is that the plane is positioned in a densely populated, built-up area of Kedonganan in Kuta, Southern Bali.
No one really knows how the plane got there, but it is located around a mile south of Ngurah Rai International Airport - so maybe a pilot dipped for some cheeky doughnuts (though we doubt it).
The abandoned plane sits on stilts, with its engines missing, and its turbines are not boarded up.

Incredibly, the right wing stretches out to an alleyway where people walk every day, and it comes precariously close to the Dunkin' Donuts.
Hilariously, if you search the area of Kedonganan in Bali on Google Maps, it won't take you long to find the plane.
Amongst buildings and greenery, the plane sticks out like a sore thumb - like we'd imagine it does in real life.
The plane has reportedly been in that location since 2007, and there have been many theories from locals as to why it is there.

Most say that the owner of the plane bought it to turn into a restaurant for the locals and tourists visiting the country.
They claim that the owner ran out of money and decided to ditch the 737 in the open space next to Dunkin' Donuts.
Meanwhile, others have speculated that the plane was intended to be a home, but that obviously never came to fruition.

Nowadays, the abandoned plane is actually used for something, rather than just sitting there.
Visitors have the opportunity to tour the inside of the aircraft, and have a go on a cockpit simulator if they wish.
And as per the theory about the previous owner, a restaurant has opened there for locals and tourists to enjoy.
Quite a unique story, right?

Well, another abandoned plane sits in Bali just five miles away - though there isn't believed to be any connection between the two.
