One said: "Wet Leg might be awkward as hell but love them for saying f**k the tories #Brits2023."
"Not too keen on @ITV censoring Wet Leg's 'F**k The Tories' because a) it's after 9 (b) free speech (c) rock and f***ing roll, man," another wrote.
A third added: "I mean if Wet Leg are saying ‘F**k the Tories’ then that’s good enough for me they can win them all #Brits2023."
A final commented: "Ok so I haven’t heard of wet leg until tonight and I rate that annoying song a solid 1/10, however, if what the live bleeped out was 'F***k the tories' I’ll up my rating to 8/10 #Brits2023."

The group also shouted out musician and Creative Director of NiNE8 Lava La Rue.
In their previous acceptance speech for Best New Artist, the group mocked Arctic Monkey's Brit acceptance speech in 2014.
They said: "That rock and roll, hey. That rock'n'roll. It just won’t go away. It might hibernate from time to time and sink back into the swamp.

"In all seriousness, thank you so much. It’s really cool to be doing this on an indie label, shout out Domino. Man, this is so scary.
"It can feel like such a boys club thing but I just want to thank all of the women who worked on the whole production. It is a team of women so I really want to shout them out. I’m really nervous so I’m going to stop now."
