If keeping your cool was an award-winning sport, this busker named Matt would be laden with trophies.
In a recent TikTok video, the singer gave his tens of thousands of followers an insight into just how stressful singing on the streets can actually be.
A post captioned: ‘I wish I could say this doesn’t happen a lot’ saw Matt being heckled by a dude who one person in the comment section said sounded like ‘drunk Thor’.

Despite asking in a polite manner for the troublesome spectator to move on numerous times, they refused to budge, and could be heard in the background of Matt’s TikTok video continuously pestering him.
Eventually, a crowd began to form and one woman could be heard asking Matt if he was OK.

After telling ‘drunk Thor’ to ‘shut up’, Matt said the man finally walked away, noting in the comment section: “I took a break not long after this, and when I came back I was told by someone who saw this happen that he had been arrested.”
Needless to say, people were blown away by how well Matt handled the situation, with one person writing beneath the video: “You did great mate. I had a bloke like this do this to me when I was working as an usher at a concert once. It’s a horrible feeling.”
A second person echoed: “It's amazing how you managed to remain so calm. Props and keep on rocking!” while a third said: “You have the patience of a saint!”

Even Spotify commented on Matt’s post, noting: “Ignore and move on! You're beautiful.”
Other comments included: “You massively did the right thing there mate! Keep smashing it!”, “You dealt with it so well. Sorry you have to deal with people like this!” and “Well done for keeping your cool mate. We all know how hard it can be!”
Back in April, busker Charli Mason was met with similar praise after she shared a video on TikTok that showed a man grumpily complaining that her microphone was too loud.
In the clip, she was seen singing on the street when she ‘noticed an angry looking man shaking his head’ at her.

She then moved over to the man and asked him with a smile: “Are you okay?”
In response, the man asked if Mason was ‘aware of the maximum volume for buskers’, saying he could hear her ‘right up the high street’.
He continued: “Some people have hearing problems. It’s really painful, it’s far too loud.”

Mason then replied: “Okay, no problem. The council have been down today and they haven’t said anything.”
Not having any of it, the man told her: “Well, they may not do, but I’m just telling you that there are people – and I’ve got some friends as well – they had to cover their ears.”
Pointing out how well Mason handled the situation, one person commented: "You handled that so well hon … The older generation just can’t cope with the energy of young people... keep going lovely.”
Someone else said: “You handled that with so much grace and elegance. You go girl. I could never.”
Mad props to all the buskers out there!
