An Ed Sheeran doppelgänger was forced to move seats after he was mobbed by fans at a concert in Manchester.
Security opted to move the lookalike Wes Byrne to a different area because he was supposedly causing a fire risk near the loos at the Etihad while attending with sister, Sammy, and her son AJ.
It wasn't all bad news for the 30-year-old, as he was moved from his standard £82.50 seat to a VIP zone, where tickets can sometimes sell for over £1,000, reports The Mirror.

He says that when he went to the loo he was mobbed by fans who wanted a pic with, who they thought was, one of the most popular artists in the world.
Wes explained: “I got lots of looks when I first walked in, but it wasn’t until the first person asked for a selfie that the floodgates opened.
“Nearly everyone knew I was a lookalike, although a few kids thought I was the real Ed.

“About 15 minutes before Ed came on stage, the queue for selfies with me was all the way down a line of steps and out an exit, so security told us to go with them to some executive seats.
“We weren’t complaining – it was a much better view.
“It was AJ’s first-ever music gig and he thought all the attention was hilarious.”

Wes, from Greater Manchester, says he does lookalike gigs as a side hustle to his day job as a bin man for the council.
He said: “Not a day goes by when I don’t get stopped or asked for a selfie. My girlfriend Leah absolutely hates it.”
However, he got to meet his famous lookalike on an advert for Heinz ketchup back in 2019.

Wes added: “The advert was based on him, but he was touring so didn’t have time to stay for all the photos.
“I was called in for shots that were meant to be the side and back of his head.”
It seems that Wes' striking resemblance is as far as it goes with regards to comparisons, as the 30-year-old revealed that he can't really sing.
“I did try learning the guitar but I gave up because I was useless,” he said.

Back in 2018, Wes explained just how difficult it is for him to get around.
He explained: "I've developed a bit of a sense of when it's going to happen - it happens all the time when I'm out and about.
"Being stopped in the street and asked for pictures and autographs has started to happen more and more since he's got bigger, especially if I'm out in Manchester."
