Wimbledon fans have a bizarre theory that Kate Middleton was the '700 drinks' woman distracting Nick Kyrgios.
By now, we've all seen the clip of Kyrgios claiming that a woman was distracting him throughout his final Wimbledon match against Novak Djokovic.
While Djokovic went on to win the match, fans are looking to settle the score and want to find out who the alleged mystery meddler is - one fan thinks it could be the Duchess of Cambridge herself.
This is in no way confirmed and is just a fan theory, but the speculation started when Kyrgios singled out the crowd member during his first-ever Grand Slam final, for shouting between his first and second serves.

He claimed that the woman's behaviour was close to affecting his performance as he urged the umpire to escort her away: "There's no other bigger occasion and they did it again and it nearly cost me the point."
Then, he said: "She's drunk out of her mind so kick her out."
The umpire asked Kyrgios to point out who the woman was, and while he didn't identify her specifically, he said: "I know exactly who it is - she's the one who looks like she's had about 700 drinks."

And this is the line that has sparked fans' bizarre theory that it might've been Middleton.
With one user speculating on Twitter: "Kate Middleton defo the gal who Kyrgios said has had about 700 drinks and asked the Umpire to kick out."
While another added: "700 drinks at Wimbledon prices? The only person in a dress in the crowd that can afford that is Kate Middleton. #Wimbledon."
We think they might've taken the 700 drinks comment a little too seriously but okay.

Another quoted Kyrgios: "SCANDAL: Nick Kyrgios appears to blame defeat to Djokovic at Wimbledon on drunk Kate Middleton. She’s drunk out of her mind in the first row, talking to me in the middle of the game, the one with the dress, the one who looks like she’s had about 700 drinks."
While Middleton attended the final, we find it hard to imagine that she'd be off her rocker distracting a pro player - especially since she hands out the trophies.
And others were quick to come to the Duchess' defense, with one saying: "I doubt this. Just watched the match. He was very kind and respectful to her and she to him when she handed him the runners-up trophy. And Kate looked good."

Yep, we're fairly certain this fan theory holds less water than the refreshment cups the pros use.
