An expert has listed off some signs to look out for that could indicate you're speaking to a sociopath, including one which really 'baffles' her.
Sociopaths generally have a severe form of antisocial personality disorder (APD), which is characterised by impulsive, irresponsible and often criminal behaviour, according to the NHS.

People who suffer from the health condition will typically be 'manipulative, deceitful, reckless and will not consider other people's feelings'.
Certified DV counsellor Danielle Radin (@danielleradin) has taken to TikTok to reveal the three signs you need to keep an eye on when being around a potential sociopath.
Not yawning
Not yawning is apparently the one of the 'top body language signs' that might mean you're dealing with a sociopath.

"Next time you're around the person, give a big old authentic yawn. Apparently, it requires a certain amount of empathy to catch a yawn. If you are with somebody who never yawns when you do, that's a red flag," Danielle said.
Blinking more
"Next, see how much they're blinking. Sociopaths and psychopaths have to teach themselves to blink more," Danielle explained.

"Also, when they smile, you'll notice that it doesn't go up to their eyes. They tend to have these cold, dead eyes all the time."
Crying on cue
Being able to cry on cue could be a danger sign.
"Lastly, they can cry on cue, especially sociopathic women, but there will not be wet tears.

"So, try to wipe their tears away when they're crying and see if they're even there. This one always baffles me, by the way. How do you cry on cue? I can't do it," the expert said.
Meanwhile, people in the comments suggested that being able to cry on cue might be down to other reasons.
One person wrote: "I actually can cry on cue, I don’t let myself cry v often, bc I just prefer to avoid my feelings and anxieties, so I’ve almost always got some pent up crying to do, I just let it happen."

While a second added: "I’ve been diagnosed w/ASPD & you’re right! I gotta remind myself to blink occasionally & the whole yawning thing. Not a sociopath tho, psychopath."
Danielle responded to the comment, calling it 'eye-opening, literally'.
Another said: "I can cry on cue but I trained myself for acting. I just have to yawn in a way that pulls at my neck on the right bc I have an unheralded injury."
