People have been left in stitches over Robert Irwin's response to a woman asking for his number. Catch the encounter here:
Robert Irwin – son of the notorious 'Crocodile Hunter,' zookeeper and TV personality Steve Irwin – isn't only having to batter away rogue animals from pouncing on him, but apparently also thirsty women.

Luckily he was safely locked away in an animal enclosure at Australia Zoo when a visitor tried to chat him up.
A video has since gone viral of the encounter and social media users have been left in hysterics. Can a poor man not just be left to do his job anymore?
The woman who spied Robert in the enclosure posted the video of her shooting her shot onto TikTok.

She captioned the footage: "TikTok do your thing."
However, the run-in with her crush didn't go quite to plan.
In the recording, Irwin can be seen smiling bashfully up at the zoo visitor, who calls him 'cute' and asks for his number.
Noting that he feels 'very flattered,' Irwin then tactfully diverts the conversation to ask where the woman is from.

The zookeeper then attempts to lead the fangirl to his Instagram rather than giving her his actual phone number, which he excused as being 'hit or miss'.
Alas, his plans are thwarted when it's revealed she already slid into his DMs the day previously to let him know in advance she would be visiting the zoo that day.
Fans of the zookeeper have since flooded to the post in adoration and amusement over how Irwin politely turned away Megan.

"Bro (in the most polite way) said 'no'," one said.
Another wrote: "Protect him at all costs lol."
"He took the scenic route to 'No'," a third said.

Others applauded the girl for her efforts because, you know, it's Robert Irwin isn't it?
"He’s just like his dad so sweet and precious," one user said.
Another cheered: "This girl really shooting her shot as she should!!"
A final said: "The person who gets to spend their life with him is going to be so freakin cherished, this man clearly honors women."
The TikToker is yet to post an update as to whether or not Irwin has replied to her Instagram DM.
However, all hope is not lost.
Irwin's sister Bindi met her husband, Chandler Powell, at the zoo and had similarly been visiting as a tourist.
The pair first met in 2013 and are now married and have a daughter.
So forget Hinge, Tinder or Thursday, get yourself down to your nearest zoo if you want to meet the love of your life.
