A woman is shattered after spending a jaw-dropping US $300 on a haircut that made her look like a ‘Karen’.
In the hilarious TikTok video captioned, ‘that’s Mrs Pumpkin to you m’am’, the woman is sobbing over her new do while comparing herself to an entitled mum on the ‘PTA’.
“I just paid $300 to look like a f***ing Karen. I look like I’m on the PTA. I swear I don’t drive a f***ing mini-van,” she cried.

“I look like I have three sons who play f***ing tee-ball.”
She continued: “I look like I collect coupons, oh god.
“Okay, let’s practice, ‘Let me speak to your manager.’ Oh my God, why does God f***ing hate me!”
The video, which has accumulated over 5.8 million views, has left TikTok users in hysterics, with one person writing: “Karen? Is that you?”

Another user commented: “I NEED TO SEE THE REFERENCE PHOTO YOU GAVE THE STYLIST.”
A third wrote: “When you laugh so hard, you cry.”
But many empathised with the woman's situation, as they too have been left disappointed after getting a fresh cut.
One user wrote: “Girl I have been there! I got 8 inches cut off unplanned, and the hairstylist kept cutting I was in tears.”

Another wrote: “I need to know what you were going for in the first place? Like how did she mess up so bad? Not that it looks bad but you clearly think so.”
While a third user added: “Some hairdressers just love ruining women’s hair; I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had this happen to me; I just cut my own hair now.”
Cutting your own hair? No matter how many times my hairdresser has made me look like a portobello mushroom, there’s no way I’m practising DIY on my locks. That’s bold.

In a follow-up video, the woman soft launched her new hairstyle, which was visibly shorter than the last and revealed she turned to an at-home hair dye kit to give herself an edgier, more contemporary look.
She also disclosed she channelled her inner ‘Karen’ to demand a refund from the hair salon.
“I went full Karen mode; I tried to get a refund and was denied of such, so yeah, I have to live with that,” she said.
“To all the sweet farts that were trying to make me feel better and tell me that I didn’t look that bad, oh my god, no honey, you’re so wrong.”
