A chocolate mud cake from the supermarket has always been a beloved Aussie treat.
But Woolworths has really stepped it up with its new rocky road mud cake.
The supermarket giant has says the delicious new offering will be available across the country from June 1, but only for a limited time.

The new culinary godsend will only cost AUD $5.50 and will feature ‘raspberry flavoured chocolate mud cake topped with choc ganache, marshmallows and shredded coconut’.
Woolies has previously launched the Caramelised White Choc, Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Orange mud cake as a part of its special edition varieties.
Woolworths Category Manager for Bakery, Chris Chase said the new 600g baked good is a new twist on the supermarket’s iconic mud cake.

“We know our customers look forward to the limited edition mud cake flavours we sell every year and this time, we wanted to create something exciting that combines our popular mud cake with a much loved Aussie treat," he said.
Chris added: “The result is a decadent mud cake that has sentimental meaning to Australian households with the scent of raspberry and coconut topped with marshmallows combined with the rich, chocolate flavour reminding customers of a decadent Rocky Road dessert.”
A sneak peek of the cake was posted to Woolies' TikTok account and customers can’t wait for its release.
