With all the bad news coming out of 2022, we finally have a glimmer of hope.
McDonald's will be selling their iconic Cheeseburgers for just 50 cents in Australia today (April 6).
We're practically drooling just thinking about it.

However, make sure you get in quick, as the special deal is only limited to the first 350,000 cheeseburgers sold, with one redemption per customer.
And don’t even think about putting on a disguise and relining up in the cue, as they might just throw you in McJail with the likes of the Hamburglar.
To score this sweet deal, you have to order through the MyMaccas app, which you can use in-store, for takeaway or at the drive-thru.

The day coincides with the launch of MyMaccas' Rewards, where customers can now accumulate 100 points for every dollar they spend.
So perhaps, you could order a coke or a McFlurry to go down with your meal to start racking up those points.
McDonald’s marketing manager Tobi Fukushima said of the special deal: “As part of our commitment to providing great value food, we are excited to offer our popular cheeseburger for 50 cents, for one day only.

“Customers will now earn MyMacca’s Rewards points when they purchase the 50-cent cheeseburger, which can be redeemed against some of our most iconic menu items.
He added: “This is another way we are showing customers that value means more at Macca’s, by rewarding them for their loyalty while offering some of their favourite menu items for less.”
The limited-time offer will also return some of the fast-food chain’s most beloved menu items, including the Double Chicken Deluxe, the Chicken Deluxe Share Pack and the Bacon Chicken Deluxe.
Group brand manager at McDonald’s Australia Lancy Huynh said the range would feature delicious flavour pairings to quench the thirst of chicken lovers.
