People have been left divided after a clip of a man gifting his waiter a very generous tip went viral. Watch the video below and see what you think:
TikTok user @realkingkhang was evidently trying to impress his valentine after he left a whopping 200 percent tip to his waiter earlier this week.

Of course, many people praised the TikToker for his generosity, as waiters in the US are typically on a lower wage and thus rely more on the kindness of strangers to tip them.
However, others believed the intentions behind his gift were insincere, as the TikToker appeared to brag by turning the interaction into a game.
The video begins with ‘KingKhan’ paying for his meal on a tablet, when he asks the waiter to swipe the tip screen ‘as far as it goes’ to determine how much tip he would be getting.
He is then heard saying: “Boom. 200 percent.”

According to the text on the screen, the love birds' bill was $46 (£34), meaning the waiter received $92 (£68) in tips.
A woman’s voice can then be heard saying: “You got a hundred dollars for a tip. No, I’m for real!”
After hearing the news, the waiter can be heard telling the couple: “Thank you very much guys, I appreciate that.”

As their interaction continues, text appears over the clip which reads: “I love doing this. Feels so good to make someone’s day.”
The viral video has now sparked a debate among commenters, as many asked why the exchange had to be filmed and posted publicly.
One commenter wrote: "Why do we make games out of tipping people and film it? Just I've the money and leave it at that.”

While another said: "You need to be more humble. Why are you shoving it in his face? That's made it weird and uncomfortable."
A third added: "I hate when people act like this and flex how much they tip. Just be polite, tip, and leave."
Other commenters defended the man for his kind deed, insisting he should still be applauded for his actions as the waiter may have 'really needed' the cash.
One user said: "Screw the haters! I think this post could influence others to do acts of kindness like this. For all anyone knows, the waiter may have needed it."

Another posted: "As a server, I wouldn’t give a f*** if I’m being filmed or not. $100 on a $45 bill? You're all so bent for no reason, I’m just glad for that server."
