A new item has been revealed by McDonald's and it's set to be added to the menu permanently.
I may not have much more room in my typical McDonald's order for an extra item – my order being a nine Chicken McNugget meal, saver menu Cheeseburger and Mayo Chicken burger as well as a side of Mozzarella Dippers.

However, if there was ever one burger to change my mind and to leave a small space in my tummy for, then this could well be it.
And with McDonald's set to put it permanently on the menu, there's no immediate rush to get down to the nearest restaurant of the fast food chain either.
Many will be shedding a few tears as their excuse to go to McDonald's every day is obliterated when the Monopoly prize giveaway ends on Tuesday, 18 October.

However, fear not, because McDonald's latest item is set to be permanently added to the menu the very next day, from 11.00am on Wednesday, 19 October.
Chicken fans listen up, because McDonald's has you sorted.
From 19 October, the McCrispy burger is set to be made permanent on McDonald's menu.

The McCrispy burger is described by the fast food chain as having a 'crunchy 100 percent chicken breast fillet, marinated in black pepper and cayenne' as well as a 'classic mayonnaise with cracked black pepper and a savoury roasted chicken flavour'.
The burger is finished off with a 'four inch artisan glazed bun with a sweet nutty toasted flavour'.
When paired with fries and a drink as part of the extra-value deal, a McCrispy burger will set you back £6.49.
The fast food chain tested a similar style Crispy McFillet burger back in March 2022.

The burger received widespread praise after it was tried by consumers in various locations across Ireland and the Midlands.
One user wrote: "I have a dream and that dream is a filet o fish bun double mccrispy with big mac sauce."
The new face of the burger is Maya Jama – the television presenter who was recently revealed to be taking over from Laura Whitmore on ITV reality series Love Island.

Jama reflected: "I love a chicken burger and am a self-confessed chicken connoisseur, so when I found out Maccies was launching this new burger, I had to get involved."
Alongside Jama, gamer Elz the Witch, rapper Michael Dapaah and comedian Keith Lemon will also be on television promoting the burger.
