There are a lot of perks to being a flight attendant and the biggest that immediately springs to mind is having the opportunity to travel the world.
But it turns out that one flight attendant, at least, will also be well compensated financially for their time by Netflix.
This is because the streaming service is on the hunt for a flight attendant who will be paid the handsome sum of up to £312,000 to travel the world.

News of the job was revealed on Netflix's website, where it was stated that Netflix Aviation is on the hunt for someone with 'a passion for aviation and a desire to work within a dream crew'.
Now, we know what you're thinking, Netflix is an online company and not a physical one. Why would they need flight attendants?
Well, this is also explained in the job listing.

It added: "The aviation team helps Netflix reach the world more efficiently and effectively so the company can continue to create joy around the world."
Alongside embracing the company's culture, the ideal person for the role will be independent and operate with a lot of self-motivation.
"This is a lead position for a Northern California-based Flight Attendant," the ad continued, "and the right candidate will be professionally trained in cabin and passenger safety and aircraft emergency evacuation.
"As you travel, you embrace the Netflix culture of Freedom and Responsibility, allowing you to operate with little direction and a lot of self-motivation.

"You also demonstrate the independent judgment, discretion and outstanding customer service skills necessary to provide a seamless experience for our passengers."
The ad then explained the specific aviation qualifications that the ideal candidate will have before stating that whoever is successful will have a salary range that could be as much as $385,000 (£312,000).
Needless to say, Netflix isn't a commercial airline, so the flight attendant won't have to worry about dealing with Average Joes as customers.

Instead, they will have to ensure a smooth service on Netflix's private jet, which we can only assume might transport some famous faces as well as company executives to where they need to be.
The only real downside to the role is that it might get in the way of your personal life, as the ideal candidate must also be willing to work unsociable hours like weekends and bank holidays.
But we have to admit, with such an impressive benefits package, we don't imagine that Netflix will struggle to find someone great.
