The tyres and rims were stolen from a Tesla parked outside Owen Wilson's California home.
The incident occurred on 28 May, with TMZ reporting the vehicle belonged to the Wedding Crashers actor.
The grey Tesla was pictured parked outside his Santa Monica Mansion, with both the front and rear wheels missing from the vehicle.

Santa Monica police told NBC that the cost of the stolen parts was $4,000 (£3,200).
They added that they were reviewing surveillance footage of the area.
While it seems that Wilson owns a Tesla, we can't say for sure what year/exact model it is.

Besides the cyber truck, the cheapest new car they have to offer is the Tesla Model 3 (£42,500), then it's the Model S (£73,990), with the Model X starting at £81,990.

Wilson has also revealed he will be returning as Mobius for season 2 of Loki.
As per Digital Spy, the character 'Mobius is an agent of the Time Variance Authority, a group that operates outside the realm of time and space and has the ability to infiltrate various timelines within the multiverse'.
During WIRED's Auto-Complete Interview, he confirmed the return, saying: "Yes, he is coming back to Loki.
