A woman has been charged with assault after she threw a milkshake at Nigel Farage at an event in Clacton, Essex, on Tuesday (3 June).
The Reform UK leader was seen leaving the Moon and Starfish pub in Clacton after a milkshake was launched at him, ruining his dark blue suit.
Farage's suit jacket was covered in a yellow drink, thought to be a banana milkshake.

Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, is now set to appear at appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 2 July, Essex Police said.
Essex Police said in a statement: “The charges relate to an incident in which a drink was thrown at a man in the area of Marine Parade East, Clacton, at around 2.10pm on Tuesday.”
Officials said that the 44-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker has been released.

Following the incident, Victoria, an OnlyFans model, told the BBC: “He doesn’t stand for me, he doesn’t represent anything I believe in, or any of the people around here.
“He doesn’t represent us, he’s not from here."
Before the milkshake was thrown, Farage hit out at the Tories over the handling of Brexit, saying: “We made an offer to the British people, we could get back our independence and control of our borders.
“But what has happened? The Conservatives have betrayed that trust. They’ve opened up the borders to mass immigration like we’ve never seen before.

“And they deserve to pay a price for that, a big price for that.
“That breach of trust from the Conservatives means they are finished, they are done.
“We are going to get a Labour government. Whether you like it or not, we are going to get a Labour government – the question is, who is going to be the voice of opposition?”

“A Labour government won’t make any real changes at all, we need radical surgery in this country,” he added.
Meanwhile, Home Secretary James Cleverly said: "There is no excuse to resort to behaviour like this. We may disagree, but we debate, and then we vote."
Now, this isn't the first time Farage has had a milkshake thrown at him.
In 2019, during a campaign walkout in Newcastle, a £5.25 Five Guys banana and salted caramel milkshake was launched at the politician.
