Prince Harry has been called out for speaking about the effects of climate change despite having a history of flying in private jets.
He gave a keynote speech at the United Nations in New York City about how the world needs to rally together to fight the impacts of a changing climate and bounce back from the Covid-19 pandemic.
"How many of us feel battered, helpless, in the face of a seemingly endless stream of disasters and devastation," he said.

"I understand, this has been a painful year in a painful decade."
He added: "We're living through a pandemic that continues to ravage communities in every corner on the globe; climate change wreaking havoc on our planet, with the most vulnerable suffering most of all; the few weaponising lies and disinformation against the many; and from the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of constitutional rights here in the United States, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom."
The Duke of Sussex called on world leaders to band together to fight the common enemy.

"This crisis will only grow worse unless our leaders lead," he said. "The right thing to do is not up for debate, and neither is the science.
"A moment when multiple converging crises have given way to an endless string of injustices.
"A moment when people around the world are experiencing extraordinary pain."
However, many people on social media said Prince Harry shouldn't be lecturing about climate change because he sometimes uses a private jet to get from A to B.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used a private jet to fly from the US to the UK for the Queen's platinum jubilee last month, according to News Corp.

New Idea reports the Duke of Sussex also hopped into his own plane in 2021 to go from a charity event in Colorado back to his California home.
Marie Claire says Prince Harry also used a private jet to do a tour of NYC late last year.
Considering how much the couple is hounded by the paparazzi, it's understandable why they sometimes choose to jump into a private jet rather than fly with the masses.
However, it's not unheard of for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to fly commercial.

In November last year, The Daily Mail reported how they discreetly hopped onboard a commercial flight from New York to California.
The outlet quoted a person from Twitter who said: “Prince Harry and Meghan were on our flight to LA last night!
“We were held up for about 20 minutes from our departure time and they were snuck into the last 2 seats.
“We didn’t even know until a girl waiting to get off the plane next to us pointed them out. I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough but it was them.”
