A new potential neighbour of Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively has expressed her hopes to join the famous pair for drinks in the local pub.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Reynolds, 46, and Lively, 35, had purchased a new home in a sleepy Welsh village.
An unnamed source told The Sun that the pair have splurged on a cottage in Marford that is thought to be worth a cool £1.5 million.

“Ryan is moving to Marford,” the anonymous source told the national newspaper. “It’s all the locals can talk about. His house is on the poshest road."
According to the national newspaper, Reynolds’ new pad is just five miles from Wrexham FC’s home, The Racecourse Ground.
In November 2020, the Hollywood hero made headlines when he decided to purchase Wrexham FC with It’s Always Sunny’s Rob McElhenney, 45.
Since then, the pair and Lively have all been seen at numerous National League home games. They will also be hoping that the team can secure promotion into League 2 at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Following the news that Reynolds and his family are set to be seen a lot more around Marford, fans and potential new neighbours have come out in their droves to welcome them.
And Jessica Jenkins and Tracey Nevitt, who work at playgroup Marford Little Explorers, are two of many who are optimistic over Reynolds putting down roots in the quiet village.
“I think it’s very good for the town,” Nevitt said. “It means a lot that he is choosing to stay in Wrexham.

“The people of Marford truly are the salt of the earth so I think Ryan chose well.”
However, despite the excitement, Nevitt admits that she isn’t overly fazed by the Free Guy actor moving to the town.
She told the BBC: “He’s not the first star here. We’ve got Dennis Taylor just down the road and Steve Cooper. So we’re quite used to it."

Echoing Nevitt, Jenkins said that she is really looking forward to Reynolds moving in and also apparently hopes to see the family for a pint at the local Marford pub, The Red Lion.
While neither party have confirmed the purchase, it seems that more fans of Reynolds are ecstatic about the rumoured move.
Jan Jones, chairwoman of the Gresford community council, said that her two children have been speculating on which house the Wrexham FC co-owner has bought.

She told the BBC: “Whichever house it is, I’m sure it will be a lovely house. He and his family will be made really welcome, and they’ll find lots to do.’
“I’m sure they’ll love living here,” she concluded.
And another Marford resident and new Wrexham football fan, Helen Haynes, simply said: “Ryan has done wonders for Wrexham.”
Last year, Reynolds and McElhenney made the Disney+ series Welcome to Wrexham, which documents the pair buying and breathing life back into the football club.
