A teammate of Hungary star Barnabas Varga has updated fans on his condition after he was hospitalised following a sickening collision with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn.
The 29-year-old striker sparked panic among supporters when he was stretchered off the pitch during the second half of his team's clash against the Tartan Army in Stuttgart, Germany, on Sunday (23 June) evening.
Scotland's dreams of sealing a place in the last 16 of Euro 2024 were dashed after a dramatic late goal scored by Kevin Csoboth in the 10th minute of stoppage time, but the mood wasn't as celebratory for Hungary following the incident.

With 69 minutes on the clock, play was paused after Varga collided with Gunn, who had ran out of Scotland's net to punch the ball away.
The Hungarian ace was left on the deck as blankets were held up to shield him from all the cameras around the ground, while players formed a protective wall around him.
After the match, the first update on Varga's condition was released.
