McGregor appears to have reacted after being heckled by a fan of the Chechen fighter

A video has emerged allegedly showing former UFC fighter Conor McGregor 'spitting in a man's face' after he shows support for Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The clip - which was filmed in an unidentified location - shows McGregor walking through what appears to be a shopping centre with his security when a fan approaches and asks for a photo, to which one of the men with the 36-year-old responds: "Not right now."

At the same time, a man can be heard shouting "Let's go Khabib!" with the fighter instantly turning around the confront him.

McGregor then walks up to the man with his back to the camera, with the audio picking up what appears to be a 'spitting noise' before walking off.

It's unclear exactly what happened between the two men, however, McGregor can be heard saying: "I spit in your face, what you do? Nothing."

As reported by TalkSport, he then adds: "I spit in your face you fool," before walking away with his entourage.

McGregor is yet to address the situation publicly.

LADbible has approached a representative for Conor McGregor for comment.

McGregor famously fought Nurmagomedov in October 2018 for the UFC Lightweight Championship, with the Irishman ultimately losing the bout.

The pair would go on to have a major rivalry with each other, with a mass brawl breaking out moments after their fight at UFC 229.

Prior to the fight, McGregor found himself in hot water after footage emerged of him attacking a bus allegedly carrying Nurmagomedov and his team away from a UFC event in New York, ESPN reported at the time.

He was later charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief as well as menacing and reckless endangerment for the incident and given five days of community service, The Guardian reported.

McGregor's last professional fight was in July 2021, a loss against Dustin Poirier, the fighter recently hinted that he would fight Logan Paul - however this fight currently appears be off the table.

"It is what it is," McGregor told The Schmo (via TalkSport). "It was business savvy, and business sense to make the fight happen. Or should I say to make the glorified spar happen."

He added: "In between this waiting period that we find ourselves in before I can get back to the octagon, it made perfect sense on the calendar to go ahead with it.

"The UFC weren’t into it. I’m not sure what WWE's interest in it was. I just knew the UFC weren’t into it."
