People think they've worked out reason Jake Paul chose a very specific walk-out song before fight versus Mike Tyson

They think that there's a good reason behind Paul's walk out song

Fans think they've worked out why Jake Paul walked out to a classic pop song.

It's almost time, as Paul and Tyson are finally set to face off, eight months after the initial announcement.

Hosted at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA, the NFL's Dallas Cowboy's home ground in front of 70,000 people, millions are watching across the world on Netflix.

Fans have already been given a jump-scare as footage from Tyson's locker room revealed that his bare a** was out, while some fans have endured streaming problems while trying to get the fight up.

The walk outs have just taken place, and fans think they know why Paul chose Phil Collins' 80s' classic, 'In the Air Tonight'.

You may remember 2009 comedy film The Hangover, which Tyson had a cameo in, and a famous scene from the film has Iron Mike punch actor Zach Galifianakis in the face, while singing the classic song.

Fans took to social media to share the memory.

Taking to X, one wrote: "Jake Paul bring back (sic) Tyson in the hangover. Love that, gonna bet $500 on him"

Another said: "Lol Jake Paul coming out to air in the night to troll Tyson’s hangover role"

A third wrote: "@jakepaul so much disrespect for playing Tyson’s Hangover song as your walk in…"

A different user pointed out: "The HANGOVER Phil Collins song I can’t associate with anyone but Mike Tyson is Jake Paul’s ring walk. Kind of brilliant."

The fight is currently streaming on Netflix, for millions around the world to view.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson rules explained

The bout between Paul, 27, and Tyson, 58, has been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which makes this a professional fight, as the result will go on the fighter's respective records.

However, it will not adhere to the rules of a standard heavyweight bout, with gloves being heavier at 14 ounces instead of 10. This means the punches will not land as hard due to the extra padding, as well as protecting each boxer's hands more than at 10-ounce gloves.

The rounds will also last two minutes instead of the standard three, and instead of 12 rounds, there will only be eight.
