Presenter Jermaine Jenas will no longer be hosting the hit BBC programmes Match of the Day and The One Show, the broadcaster confirmed today.
The 41-year-old TV star, who swapped the pitch for punditry following the end of his 13-year career, has been removed from the air and will no longer be the face of either shows.
A BBC spokesperson told LADbible: “We can confirm that he is no longer part of our presenting line up.”

The Beeb did not elaborate on the reasoning behind the decision to let Jenas go.
The former footballer's exit - which is said to be effective immediately - reportedly came as a 'massive shock' to his colleagues.
Jenas last presented The One Show on July 22, and had previously appeared on the Match of The Day panel on May 4. However, he was noticeably absent from Saturday's first episode of the new campaign.

Jenas was considered a rising star at the BBC who could have filled the shoes of Gary Lineker in the future, however, the former Newcastle United star has been given the boot instead.
Just last year, Lineker, 63, touted the Nottingham-born star as a possible successor to him in the big chair, saying he was 'probably drifting more towards my role'.
Now, a mural featuring Jenas alongside BBC Sport co-stars Lineker, Alan Shearer and Alex Scott is said to have been removed from Media City HQ in Manchester.
The pundit - who also enjoyed spells playing for Spurs and QPR during his professional career - is also rumoured to have parted ways with his agents, MC Saatchi, and no longer appears on their website.

He first joined The One Show in 2020 before earning a gig as a regular host the following year, opening doors for him to become a regular face on viewers screens - including for the BBC's Euro 2024 coverage.
The dad - who shares daughters Geneva, Olivia and young son Jacob with his wife Ellie, as well as daughter Sancha from a previous relationship - was impressing with his presenting skills on radio as well as TV.
Jenas also secured a gig with TNT Sports thanks to his success, offering commentary for football while also hosting covering events such as Formula E as a host.

Just 15 minutes after the news of his departure from the BBC broke, the 41-year-old was hosting a live show on talkSPORT.
He stepped in to present the 'Drive' show as Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent were absent, but the awkward timing of it left fans stunned.
LADbible has contacted Jenas' representatives and talkSPORT for comment.
