USA Gymnastics has submitted new video evidence that they believe 'proves' Jordan Chiles shouldn't have lost her medal.
The sporting drama began days after the 23-year-old competed in the women's floor final in gymnastics at the Paris Olympics, last Monday (5 August).
When the scores came in, Chiles found out that she had finished fifth until her coach Cecile Landi issued a difficulty score inquiry.

The judges then decided to amend her score and Chiles finished in third place behind her Team USA compatriot Simone Biles in second and Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade, who took home the gold.
Chiles' bronze medal win was her first individual medal at the Olympic Games, as well as picking up gold in the women's all-around final alongside her teammates.
However, on Saturday (10 August) evening, her celebrations were cut short after the Court Arbitration for Sport ruled that the inquiry made by her coach to amend her score on the day was submitted too late.

It was suggested that that coach Landi's submission was put in just four seconds after the one minute deadline.
This meant Chiles would finish in fifth place in the final.
Meanwhile, USA Gymnastics said on Sunday (11 August) that they have obtained video evidence which shows that Landi did submit her enquiry before the deadline.

They said that she did it within 47 seconds.
"The time-stamped, video evidence submitted by USA Gymnastics Sunday evening shows Landi first stated her request to file an inquiry at the inquiry table 47 seconds after the score is posted, followed by a second statement 55 seconds after the score was originally posted," USA Gymnastics said in its statement.
"The video footage provided was not available to USA Gymnastics prior to the tribunal’s decision and thus USAG did not have the opportunity to previously submit it."

A spokesperson for USA Gymnastics said that they were unable to share the footage due to confidentiality rules surrounding appeals.
Chiles has obviously been left devastated by the decision, writing on social media last week: "I am taking this time to remove myself from social media for my mental health thank you."
Her teammate Biles shared some words of encouragement, writing: "Sending you so much love Jordan, keep your chin up Olympic champ! We love you!”
